What is Bandhej or Bandhani?
Bandhej or more commonly referred as Bhandani is method of tying the fabric with threads and then dying them in different natural colors to create beautiful patterns. The name Bandhani is derived from a Sanskrit word 'Bandh' meaning knot. This art although not difficult is quite time-consuming and has it's evidence of existence since the era of Indus Valley Civilization.
